About 12 West Main...

12 West Main was built in the mid-1930's and is on the approximate site of the John Thomas house (founder of Thomasville). In the past, the first floor housed Jones/Efird's Dept. Stores and once hosted WMFR's radio broadcast from the mezzanine. Historical sites such as the Big Chair, the Depot and the town gazebo are all within view and add charm to the 12 West Main experience.

This beautifully restored building is now available for weddings, receptions, dances, reunions, and other functions involving up to 500 people. The elegant “Red Room” is also available for functions up to 40 people.
